Thompson & Morgan 2 X Lavatera Barnsley Baby 9Cm Pot Kb0507

A cottage garden favourite with a twist! This dwarf version of 'Barnsley Baby' is compact, floriferous and the perfect patio container or small garden addition. You'll be certain to get the neighbours' attention with the well-branched habit and floods of soft pink blooms, which will also attract bees and butterflies. Once established it will need little maintenance and will tolerate short drought periods well. Pot up plug plants and grow them on in frost-free conditions. When plants are well grown and all risk of frost has passed, gradually acclimatise mallow to outdoor conditions for a period of 7 to 10 days. Transplant lavatera plants into borders and containers outdoors in moist, well-drained soil in full sun. When growing lavatera in containers use a soil-based compost such as John Innes No. 3. Feed and water regularly throughout the growing season while young plants become established. Once established, lavatera plants require only occasional attention. Pruning lavatera is best undertaken in spring when all risk of frost has passed and the buds begin to swell. Prune all stems hard to about 30cm above ground level. Mallow can be slow to break bud in spring, so be patient with plants that might appear to have died over winter as they may still be dormant. Product Specifications: Position in: Full sun Height: Up to 75cm Spread: Up to 60cm Supplied as 1 x 9cm Pot. Delivered with growing and care instructions. Images shown are for guidance only of the expected results from plants upon maturity. Different growing conditions might vary results. Image may be included for illustration of supply but can vary due to seasonality changes (e.g. deciduous plants lose leaves in colder months).
